Smoke Report: Wappa

Doesn't mean we can't appreciate this beautiful plant.

All that was left after the grow report, was of course the smoke report. What’s the high like? How’s the smell? The taste? You’ll find out by these 2 smoke reports, one by the gardener himself (casual smoker) and one by the every day toker.

Mr. Nice Guy (casual smoker)

After searching a lot to find the perfect strain to grow my first indoor weed, I’ve picked the wappa because a lot of growers value this strain due to its big yields, sweet taste and the Indica-type of body-stoned without couch-lock.

What’s the high like?

I personally always get stoned from weed, no matter what strain. This strain is not an exception to this as I still get a big couch-lock when I smoke or vape it. In my opinion it has the same strength as Northern Light and white widow, but it leans a bit more towards sativa there it creates more of a feeling in the head than a full body stoned.

Taste & Smell

During the flowering process, the smell was very intense, so a carbon-filter is definitely a must if you want to grow this strain!

After harvest, the strain was dried for two weeks and then jarred into air tight bottles and cured for around four weeks. After this four weeks the taste was a lot better than right after the bud was dried, but still not as fruity as during the flowering process, but it gets fruitier day by day!

Mauro (Every day smoker)

Since the final harvest from about a week, I’ve been smoking and vaping the Wappa bud in multiple ways. We keep in mind this is an Indica and should normally get you stoned. And it does, while being pretty good at it.

What’s the high like?

The first few days were mostly joints (with 50%) tobacco, after which I switched to pure joints and bonghits and the volcano for the weekend. While previous attempts at growing (outdoor, this time we grew indoor) didn’t really satisfy me, which resulted in many trips to the coffeeshop nevertheless. However, this batch of indoor wappa weed was excellent. The biggest question for me was how this strain compared to one of the most commonly sold strain in Coffeeshops in the Netherlands, White Widow. I have found the Wappa to be perhaps slightly less strong, but in slightly larger amounts (as you’d expect, since you would be growing this yourself) this’ll get you high or stoned depending on how you’d consume it there’s arguably less couchlock for those smoking every day.

Taste and smell

You need some patience, but if you do manage to wait for a couple of weeks to cure the bud, then the bud really shines. Both the taste and the smell get even better, it smells nice and fruity. Many people, also non smokers actually commented on the great smell of this bud.
