Preparing the Vaporizer for the First Time
ValueVaporizer.com was gracious enough to provide me with my first vaporizing product. The Atmos Rx vaporizer pen is sleek and easy to assemble. The device comes in several pieces initially but it is easy to acquaint yourself with the assembly process. It required an extended initial period of charging, which is done through a USB-style wall unit. After the first charge, however, it lasted nearly two weeks without requiring an additional charge. The battery life on this product is excellent.
Once your Atmos pen is charged (you’ll see the light change to green) you are officially ready to vape!
Using the Atmos Rx Vaporizer Pen:
Using a vaporizer demands a certain degree of patience as well as trial-and-error. My first few puffs taught me that it takes approximately ten seconds for the heating mechanism to reach full power. This lead to several strong inhalations of vapor that were quite overwhelming. Once I played with the device enough, however, I found the perfect balance.
Like most tools of canna-consumption, the device requires consistent maintenance.
Although I enjoy the Atmos pen, I continue to smoke flower through traditional means in addition to using the vape pen. There is something about the ritual of glass that I am still particular to. One caveat to vaporizing is that while the effects of the cannabis are more intense, they just do not seem to last as long.
- Easy to use
- Flower tastes great
- Gives a good high
- Decent battery life
- Requires basic mechanical knowledge to clean
- Takes longer to heat up than it claims
- Buds burn up quicker
The Atmos Rx vape pen is reliable, discreet, and downright fun to use. It is an enjoyable break from the norms of cannabis use.
